Okay so this post doesn't have to do with fashion or beauty but my lovely chubby JellyBelly. My local pet shelter, the Lynchburg Humane Society, is running a pet photo contest for its 2014 Calender and I've entered him in it. It would mean the world if you could take a few minutes and vote for this sexy little fat cat :)
Just letting you know that I didn't fall off the Earth. I've been recovering from a recent surgery and part of that recovery meant not wearing glasses for 3 weeks. So of course, I wasn't going to blog by staring one inch from the computer moniter, yup, my eye sight is that bad.
Today I've returned to my glasses and ultimately using the computer instead of my iPhone. Keep an eye out for some new posts!
I think I'm the only girl I know who doesn't shop for clothes online, until today. I've always been afraid of buying clothes without trying them on. I have such a tricky body that it's never safe to assume something will fit right just because of the size. One of my favorite stores is Forever 21 and when I lived in CT, there was one about 15 minutes away. It's was heaven/hell because I could spend all my money there! Now that I've moved to Virginia, the closest Forever 21 is hours away!! The last time I went to an actually store I was obsessed with their striped crop tops but none were in my size. I guess I wasn't the only one obsessed with them too. Recently, the ones I wanted came back in stock (online) and in my size! Because I don't know if they'll be in stock the next time I visit a store, I had to buy online.
Now here's the part I dread. What if they don't fit right? I'm way too lazy to deal with the shipping part, it seems like a lot of work, honestly. But only time will tell.
So enough of my babbling, let's see what I ordered!
I recently saw the video promotion for Prada's F/W 2013 collection and I was super happy and then super sad because I knew there's no way in hell I could ever afford any of the pieces. Nonetheless, it's still exciting to drool over the vintage inspired line. I just adore the feminine style of the coats with a defined waist and a flared bottom, the bold lip, cute belts, and fur cuffs (only if it's not real fur)! The only thing I'm not obsessed over is the wet hair look. I never got that appeal, what's so great about looking like you were running late and didn't have enough time to blow dry your hair??
Royal baby mania has been crazy since early July and now that Kate and William has had their baby boy hopefully this obsession will calm down a bit. While I am curious to learn what the little boy's name will be, I'm more interested in Kate's classic and chic fashion. I adore her outfits, maternity and prematernity.
